Hi,
I’ve always had more ideas than I could keep to myself - the kind that pop up at random and demand a place to land. By day, I work in the corporate world, but I craved a space where creativity could run free.

It all began with a children’s book about my dog, Otis, which sparked something bigger. Along the way, I started focusing on my mental health and leaning into what I call the “cozy soft rebellion” - a slower, kinder way of living that still leaves room for passion and play.

Fickle Flashes was born from that mix: a home for my 20 million ideas, from books and stickers to planners and curated finds, all shared with the hope they’ll spark a little joy (and maybe a few ideas of your own).

🐾 Otis – The Cozy Soft Rebellion

My first dog as an adult and the steady heart of my brand. Otis is a true goldendoodle—goofy, sweet, and always in search of a cozy spot. In his later years, he has become the ultimate teacher of the "Soft Rebellion." He represents the intentional choice to opt out of the hustle, reminding us that rest is a radical act and that a well-timed nap is just as important as a finished to-do list.
Represents: The Soft Rebellion, comfort, intentional slowing down, and protecting your peace at all costs.

🐾 Naomi – The Creative Workhorse

My smart, soulful "workhorse" and the engine behind my ideas. Naomi is the one who does the heavy lifting—dreaming, planning, and executing—but she does it with a sensitive heart. She represents the "anxious overachiever" side of creativity; she is proof that you can be incredibly productive and capable even when the world feels a little too loud. She’s the grit and the grace required to build something meaningful while honoring your mental health.
Represents: High-functioning creativity, the reality of anxiety, mindful boundaries, and the strength of a sensitive soul.

🐾 Mabel – The Playful Spirit

The youngest by just four months, but packed with quirks that keep us on our toes. Whether she’s hiding under tables, twirling with excitement, or greeting you with a superpower face-lick, Mabel is the embodiment that you don’t have to do things one way and you can embrace how differently your mind works. She is the "joy on repeat," the delightful chaos, and the reminder that our quirks aren't things to be fixed—they are the magic that makes life interesting.
Represents: Neurodivergent joy, whimsy, following the dopamine, and finding the "glimmers" in every day.
